Pete and Randi Jacobsen are very happy. They have four beatiful kids, jobs they enjoy and a beautiful home. This is a moving story about a family tested by a tragic accident and how the marriage is affected.
This is an absolutely beautiful story. The author is very talented with her ability to describe the characters and make them real. I had a hard time with this novel because it does describe one of my worst fears. But it is inspiring and reminds you that sometimes life takes courage. I learned a lot from this book and it is one that you truly want to discuss with a friend.

I loved this book. It was a difficult book to read. But, it was totally worth the time. I couldn't put it down. It was about stuff that is so close to the heart. Love, loss and the courage to move on and love in the most difficult circumstances. I would deffinately recommend this book.
This compelling novel leads one to examine their relationships and how forgiveness must be a part of rich family life. The storyline moves quickly yet prompts introspection. A great read. Highly recommended.
