Families graduate program
r the past few years, the Alliance of Southwest Missouri has sponsored a First Families course.
With the success of the program, Tuesday night, eight families successfully graduated from the 12-week program.
First Families is family skills training designed to increase resilience and reduce risk factors for behavioral, emotional, academic and social problems. It builds on protective factors by: Improving family relationships, improving parenting skills; and increasing youth's social and life skills.
