9/22/2008 - Rob Sanders - The Kamuli, Uganda branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is drilling 40 new water wells.

More church members are using the welfare program to help ride out the rough economy. The goal is to develop long-term independence and self-reliance.

Fred Woods, professor of church history, will speak at BYU's campus devotional: Tuesday, 11:00 A.M. (MDT).
