9/10/2008 - Taylor Summers - The BYU Marching Band will celebrate their 100th Anniversary tonight by open their new band hall at LaVell Edwards Stadium. The new room on the upper terrace of the building will serve as a central meeting site for the band as they rehearse, and it will give them storage room for their uniforms, instruments, and other equipment.
The BYU Harold B. Lee Library will display a new exhibit entitled "Spontaneous Memorial" starting this week. The exhibit allows community members the opportunity to remember the September 11th terrorist attacks by writing their thoughts on a paper tag and then placing it on the display. In all, three thousand tags adorn the memorial and two thousand of those are life sketches of a 9/11 victim taken from the New York Times project, "Portraits of Grief."
