Clark and his wife, Sue, gave the opening devotional address of winter semester 2007 on Tuesday, January 9, reminding students of the importance of the law of chastity before and during marriage. President Clark emphasized the importance of the law of chastity, saying it "stands as a great shining light, a beacon of hope and strength, a bright line of guidance and direction."
