SANTA RITA, Guam — When Gary and Shirley Roper got married nearly 49 years ago, they dreamed of serving as couple missionaries when they retired someday. Today, they are among 55,000 missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who are living that dream. And they are doing so in the Talisay Branch of the Church in Santa Rita, thousands of miles from their home in Cedar City, Utah.
