HONG KONG | 30 May 2008 | Within days of the massive earthquake that rocked the Chinese province of Sichuan earlier this month, over 600 members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from Hong Kong traveled to a factory in Shenzhen, China, to assemble 10,000 emergency kits for victims. Each kit contained crackers, powdered milk, canned meat, instant noodles, soap, a toothbrush and toothpaste, towels, a raincoat, a blanket and drinking water.
